Are Blotches In Eyesight Due To Fever?

I had a fever for a little over 24 hours before it broke yesterday afternoon. Nothing too high, about 100.4 at the highest that I saw. Since yesterday morning and through the day I could see blotches in my eyesight, especially when I closed my eyes, ones like when you look at something bright for a long time then you close your eyes and you can still see it. Only they are not from looking at anything. Could they be from the fever? They are still somewhat there today, but have gone down quite a bit. You can't see anything on my physical eyes, I can just see those light blotches in my eyesight.
