Are Tamsulosin 0.5mg And Dutasteride 0.5mg Effective For My Prostate Problem?

continued from recent previous e-mail from syedabrarrizvi In addition to the blood pressure lowering medication reported earlier in my e-mail I have been taking tamsulosine 0.5 mg and dutastride 0.5 mg for my prostate problem. Thanking you and waiting for your reply

Tamsulosin and dutasteride is an excellent combination in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia.(BPH).Tamsulosin is an alpha blocker which works by relaxing muscles of the prostate and bladder while Dutasteride is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor that works by lowering the level of dihydrotestosterone which is a hormone that causes prostate growth.This combination will therefore help to reduce the size of the prostate and reduce symptoms of BPH.
