Hi and thank you so much for this query. These are most likely withdrawal symptoms linked to effexor. I would have love to see you take 75mg every other day for about two weeks before discontinuing fully. I will recommend that you do so and lessen the abrupt nature of stepping off this drug to minimize the side effects of this withdrawal. Remember to drink much fluids to stay hydrated and prevent any possible dehydration from the diarrhea as this would make you even more sicker? How long this can go is variable and depends on how much time you spent taking this medication. However, symptoms get a lot better within a week and gradually fade away.
