Applied Ice On Broken Blood Vessel Found During Intercourse. Is Anything Serious?

I was having intercourse. With my boyfriend i felt something that just didnt feel right so i touch down there n it was a lump then it got big within seconds.I went to the hospital n the doctor said its a broken blood vessel down there im so scared is it anything serious.she gave me two options so i just put.ice on it and she says it will take weeks to heal

Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. Your doctor is right, sometimes lacerations of labia minora or vagina due to ROUGH SEX can produce this type of acute bleeding. If there is no acute bleeding then just compression is enough or else if the bleeding is heavy you need suturing of the torn blood vessels....
