Any Worry If MRI Of Brain Shows Irregular Focal Area Of T2 Hyperintensity, Suggestive Of Calcified Lesions ?
Day before yesterday I suffer seizure. Today MRI of brain has been performed. An ill defined focal area of T2 hyperintensity, measuring 17x17mm, is noted in the insular cortex and along gyri of left temporal cortex. Few tiny T2 hyperintense foci are noted within the area of hypointensity. The are shows intense blooming in SWI sequence. No contrast enhancement is noted in post contrast images. No perilesional edema or mass effect is noted. Features are suggestive of Calcified lesion. Likely to be calcified granulomas. And the rest are normal, pliz tell me how to treat it.
