Hi,

R-Cine is anti TB drug which is very necessary for treatment if you discontinue it then TB will persist and spread which is very dangerous, for TB drugs we have either 6months regimen or 9 months regimen, then comes blood test and liver test which are very necessary to keep track of your body metabolising the medication, anti TB drugs are heavy and they are metabolised by liver so its necessary for you to get regular LFTs done. Now, tab. wysolone is a steroid, I'm sure your doctor has prescribed it as per the condition of the patient, side effects come when we take it for a longer duration and yes it should be tapered off rather stopped suddenly. If you are two much apprehensive get a second opinion, but for me, prescription doesn't sound wrong, you can always take wysolone lowest dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
