Any Exercise To Relieve Pain Underneath Left Shoulder Blade?

I have an aching pain underneath my left shoulder blade that seems to get worse when I lift weights. I've started using a tennis ball to try and roll out the pain as it feels like it is based in the muscle underneath. I say this because my left side of my neck is tight as well and pops up a bit when I rub it. Are there any exercises I can perform to help my case and not alleviate my work out program? Note that I have cut down drastically in the amount of weight I lift when performing exercisies like the bench press, shoulder press, etc.

Hi
I think you should take mild pain killers fir 1week and wear shoulder binder for 1week and after pain subsides you should start gradual shoulder mobilization exercise and cervical neck exercise. And then if after few days if the same pain starts again then i think you are having trapezitis and you should take local hydrocortise injection which will releive your pain.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
