what about repeating anti fungal treatment in recurrent infection in about 1 week ?

Recurrent urinary tract infection is common in females than in males.It could be more due to bacterial infection so it will require antibiotic.It is better to get the urine tested for culture & sensitivity so that the organism (either bacteria or fungi) can be identified & treated according to the medicines indicated (either antibiotic or antifungal).Empirical use of antifungal or antibacterial should be avoided at least in recurrent infections.
