Always Have Periods With Flu Symptoms. Possibility Of Having A Weak Immune System

Hi! I am 47, pretty much healthy, but my periods come with flu like symptoms. I get totally energy drained. Also,I am getting frequent colds and flus. I work at schools and I am exposed to sick children. Some times, it seems my immune system is not protecting me.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Some people during periods will have same symptoms as there will be some extent of immunosupression during periods. I suggest you to take more diet at the time of your periods and stay active. Hope this will help you. But if you think that there might be another cause the you need to go screening for diseases which cause immunosuppression. Thank you.
