Addicted To Spasmo Proxyvon Capsulesand Smoking. Need Help
Hi Doc i am Luv Khannna from INDIA Delhi , i want to quit my addition to spasmo proxyvon caps.
I started it in 2007 almost 6 yrs
Started with a dose of 2 caps in a time n use to take 6 in a day
Now i Take 4 caps in a time and every day its 4 times i take this dose almost 16 caps a day .
I used to take it with Rexcof or Corex cough syrp Antiussives 1 bottle in a day half in d mrng n half in the evening
I am a smoker as well and i smoke 10 cigrettes a day wit h this to recharge it

Spasmo proxyvon consists of propoxyphen as one of its ingredients. It is an opioid substance. It is highly addictive and causes both physical and psychological dependence. You are taking about 16 caps per day and it is a high dose. You also takes corex and other cough medicines. See for an effective de addiction program first pre requisite is motivation. You should have enough determination for quitting substance.
Once you are motivated enough to quit then visit a good Psychiatrist for opinion. Medicines like Buprenorphin and Naloxone combination are given for few months in order to replace highly addictive opioid and then it is gradually tapered.
