Hi,

What you need is pain management. Although lyrica does help, you can consult your doctor to find what other pain medications can be added. Also lyrica can cause drowsiness and you should check with your doctor if there is any other alternative drug that can be used. Sometimes reducing the dose and adding another drug can resolve your problems.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. K. Naga Ravi Prasad's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

If the symptoms of pain in the back and legs is not getting resolved with conservative management like rest, medications etc then an Epidural injection of steroid will help in alleviating the symptoms.

Even if the epidural injection is not helping you, then a surgical decompression is needed.

Consult an orhopedic/spine surgeon and follow his advice accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful . Good day
