7 Weeks Baby Having Severe Cold, Nose Block, Stools Are Seedy And Golden Yellow In Color. Suggestions ?
hi doctor My 7 weeks baby girl is suffering from severe cool with nose block . Kindly suggest on this. Also she developed some small rash on her body for which I am currently using lactocalmine lotion which is reduced. Also she cries a lot when she passes her stools and she passes stools almost everytime she urinates. her stools is golden yellow colour and seedy in texture. Thank you.
hello,
In this period cold / Colic pain is common in infants ...
For Cold-you can use mild antihistamine drop, under pediatric supervision.
Nose block - Home remedies (Sterile water 10 ml+ 1 pinch salt , 1 drop each nostril) , It is better than decongestant nasal drop , Because decongestant drop indues rebound congestion and condition may be worse.
Rash - lactcocalamine continue.
For cries - It is due to colic condition and it required antispasmodic drop, for that you have to concern pediatrician.
I would advice:
Keep baby warm.
Stem Inhalation with precaution.
Exclusively breast feeding.
Thanks
I WISH SHE RECOVER SOON
