Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
61 year old male, type II diabetes. Have had some numbness on inside of both legs down through foot for a number of years. Had back surgery to slow or stop this condition from getting worse in 2012. Removed a disc and put in a cage of sorts. No back pain. Most recently when walking for a short period of time both legs from knees down get so numb it feels like they have fallen asleap and have estreme difficulty walking without falling. Sit and rest awhile and things come back to normal. There is has has never been any pain. My diabetes levels have been in check. Have had heart attacks at 42 and 48 years of age. I think I may just be pinching a nerve somewhere in my back when walking. Has bee going on, on and off, for a couple months.
