6 year old having itching without rash, muscular pain and headache. Causes?

Our daughter is 6 y.o. For the last three weeks or so, she has been experiencing constant and increasing itchiness all over, with no apparent rash . She describes her itchiness as a biting, crawling sensation underneath her skin. She is also complaining of muscle achiness and a vague feeling of illness (headache, upset stomache). Antihistamines help to make the itchiness more tolerable, but there is still significant itchiness. We see no signs of body lice or scabies (e.g., burrowing). Please help.

From what you have mentioned, its almost MORE than 21 days over now. I can understand your worries.

May be it is allergic only,

I would advice:
Watch for any oyher symptoms.
Continue antihistamin as you have already taken. or you can change medicin after consult your doctor.
Avoid out side food etc
Plan and soft diet.
Bath twice day , change soap.

Wait for 4 to 5 days more, If she is not relifed ,You should get her evaluated once for her complaint to get her examined physically by a pediatrician.

I wish your child good health.
