40 Years Old, Sexually Active. Irregular Periods. Recommendations?

Hi. I am 40 years old and sexually active with my partner.
I had my normal period on 17th April, it lasted for 6 days. Then ten days later I had another bleed, it was a clean red bleed that lasted for 3-4 days. On 11th May I had a red/pink only when I wiped, then again on 12th and again this morning. I have been using panty liners since saturday and they are clean no spotting. Could anyone tell me what is going on?

Hello
welcome to health care magic
After the age of 40 yrs gradually your periods will go off...this is called menopause after that you can't give a baby.
Menopause means end of monthly cycles.
Before menopause commencement you may have irregular periods which may be of long/short duration.
Consult gynecologist for further suggestions.
Thank you
