20 Year Old Having Nausea. Not Pregnant. Other Causes?
I ve been feeling nauseous for over five weeks now. All my doctor said was that it was probably a virus, but no one I know had it, and I rarely leave the house anyways. I have a fish tank though and it had a breakout of Blue Green Algae, and I was wondering if that might be the cause. I cant read anything without wanting to throw up, and some TV shows that have a shaky camera make me sick too. I m 20 year old female, and I m not pregnant. I ve been taking ginger gravol but it only helps for a little while, and it s getting expensive. any help would be great! Thanks.

I am sorry that you are facing this.
It mostly seems like a psychological cause for this nausea as you are not pregnant and no other cause is apparent from your history.
The shaky camera on TV makes you sick too.
It is possible that it is due to BPPV or Benign Positional Postural Vertigo. However, I cannot confirm on this without examining you physically.
Please get yourself examined by an ENT specialist and get treated accordingly.
The fish tank and the algae in it are just increasing the psychological aspect of the nausea.
