thank you for your query
Girls tend to reach skeletal maturity earlier than boys i.e. their growth plates usually close around ages 15 to 18, while boys' growth plates close later, at around ages 15 to 17. for girls this is the age when puberty
has finished. After a girl's first period it is usually between one to three years when she will stop growing and the amount of growth after that first period averages at about one to two inches per year.
hence considering you just entered your 17th year you still have a chance to grow 3-4 inches.
For that good nutrition and exercise is required.good nutrition includes vitamins
and other nutrients.
if you want o know if the growth plates have closed or not you can get an X-Ray of your wrist and forearm done.it'll show the growth plate and if its closed or still open.
wishing you good health
