10 Month Old Child, Cold, Fever. Prescribed Crophen, Relent. Safe For Use By Infants?

hi doctor, i have a 10 month old baby suffering from cold and fever . I have consulted a doctor near by my house and she has given crophen for fever and relent for cold. but crophen contains promethazine which is contraindicted in children below 24 months. can i use these medines for my baby. please give me a reply. thanking you

relent has citrizine and ambroxol, which acts for both cold and dry cough, that shuld be enough for controling his running nose, for fever u can use a composition which contains only paracetamol- for ex- crocin drops 1.5 ml every 6 hrs once.
