Hello Chandra,
Thanks for posting your query. Although most children start eating normal food by the age of one year, it can vary from child to child.
So it is important not force feed your child. Find out what food she likes and continue giving that. Try only one new food item at a time, and let her get used to it for about 10 days before you try another food. It is better not to give milk or other liquids like soups, juices, etc. immediately before meal time. This will also spoil her appetite and she may eat less. For one year age she should weigh around 10 kg. If she is not underweight then you don't have to worry. Hope I've helped you. Please get back if you have any further queries.

Dr. Lavinia
