Brief Answer:
chances are low after I pill.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I understand that her last period was on 18th and the sexual contact occurred on 29th. So it was day 12. The common day for ovulation is day 13-14 in women with 28-30 days cycle, so she may not be ovulating on that day.

Even if ovulation was there, you have taken the I pill within 3 hours so chances of pregnancy are low almost nil. I pill prevents attachement of the baby to the uterus and so prevents pregnancy.

So please do not worry. She may have an early or delayed period after the I pill [ when it will come is not predictable]. However it prevents pregnancy in 95-99% cases. So chances are less considering I pill was taken early.

Hope this satisfies your query.

Brief Answer:
I pill will work

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,

If there was ovulation at the time of contact, the baby attaches to the mother about 5-7 days after contact. So the I pill has already made the uterine lining non conducive for attachment by then. Hence chances of pregnancy are very low.

So do not worry.

Take care and feel free for any more queries.

Brief Answer:
drugs can be taken only after prescription.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,

If she gets pregnant then you will need to consult a gynecologist, get her examined, confirm the duration as well as location of pregnancy [ sometimes it occurs in tubes] and then get the tablets prescibed. If all these criteria are not proper then taking the tablets may cause severe bleeding or if the pregnancy is at abnormal locations they may cause internal bleed that can be life threatening.

They can be taken till 2 -3 weeks after missed period, the earlier the better. Sometimes they cause an incomplete abortion and then she may need a curetting and so it is mandatory to get them prescribed from a certified gynecologist. The kit is called MTpill kit contain mifepristone and misoprostol tablets get only by prescription.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
