Detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
Obesity can run in families/it can be due to wrong life style or habit or a qqq àa

Professional hazard./hormonal imbalances like (low thyroid hormone, polycystic ovarian disorder in female...when it also cause menstrual problems or may be uncontrolled diabetes.)
So before jumping up haphazardly to different diets plans, I would advise to get a physical examination &needful investigations done to ascertain cause for the obesity.
When running in family it can be hormone based/genetically related.
Wrong life style /habit can be about food intake,/exercises done, sedentary life style/work with least of physical activities/ idleness making least movements .
Hormonal problems can be due to imbalance of menstrual hormones/low thyroid hormone/
Other illnesses like diabetes, liver-kidney or heart problems leading to edema(swelling over body..)causing increased weight.
*Looking at your age, .you are likely to suffer due to wrong life style/menstrual problem pcod..in case
are a girl/thyroid problem/genetic
please consult your family physician for primary evaluation followed by investigations&needful referal to expert(endocrinologist, gynecologist or diabetologist.)..for treating the basic cause along with suitable weight reduction management.
*The advise for weight reduction therefore ,consists of-
Restricted diet according to expert advise
regular daily exercises for 45minutes
6-8 hours sound sleep(not more than that)
No psychological stress/tension/depression
An active daily routine
Needful medical treatment to treat basic cause.
I hope that helps you.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks
