Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us.

I have gone through your query and also the attached reports.

As per the report, the ovaries, the fallopian tubes and the pouch of XXXXXXX are normal in appearance. The uterus is also apparently normal in appearance except for the fact that the endometrial thickness is higher than normal. This is the most likely cause of the heavier bleeding.

If your doctor is available for telephone consultation, you can ask for opinion and plan further management.

Hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

Persistent bleeding is definitely not normal. Ideally, proper clinical evaluation and investigation are necessary to identify the cause and plan further management. Since it is difficult in the current scenario, you can call your doctor's office and ask for help.

You need styptics to control the bleeding followed by a couple of courses of hormones to manage the endometrium. Presence of the blood clots is seen as a result of retention of blood inside the uterus in view of the heavy bleeding. This, in itself, is a nonspecific observation and not necessarily worrisome.

Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
