If your doctor say's that you're ovulating and having intercourse with normal sperm parameters,you can definitely conceive.

Follicular study is done by doing ultrasound scan from day 2 of the periods.
Depending up on the growth repeat scan may be done on 8 and or 13 to 14th day till ovulation happens.
