Will A Transvaginal Sonography Be Painful For A Patient Suffering From UTI?
Question: If you had a uti during a vaginal ultrasound would it be painful?

Mild pain during TVS may be due to spasm of muscles,anxiety etc.
Pain may be alleviated by proper counselling about procedure and liberal application of jelly.

Well I recently had one and it was pretty painful but they found out I had a uti so I didn't know if that could be the cause because my ovarys looked fine no cysts and pelvic and abdominal ultrasound came back normal urinalysis and urine culture said I had a uti I went in because I was having a lot of pressure bloating and pain in lower left side abdomen
