Which One Of Minivelle And Vivelle Is Good For Hot Flashes?
Question: I previously used Vivelle, then Vivelle-Dot. Earlier this year my pharmacy (CVS) said they could no longer fill prescriptions for Vivelle-Dot and had my doctor change the prescription to Minivelle. All my old symptoms are returning - hot flashes, night sweats, irregular sleep, etc. Also the patch sticks to my clothes, so it needs to be replaced more often and it leaves a glue residue on my skin that is difficult to remove. Is Vivelle or Vivelle-Dot available? If so, how does my doctor write the prescription so it will be filled as Vivelle or Vivelle-Dot rather than Minivelle?
