When Does Bleeding Start After Taking Misoprostol For Termination Of Pregnancy?
Question: I have given my wife mifstone tablet at 6 morning after 7 hours i have given second tablet of kit....till next day no bleeding occoured again that morng at 9 third tablet were taken but till now no bleeding occoured.pls helf us our. Or pls give us any contact no to. Contact u.pls

Normally Ru486(mifepristone) is given in combination with misoprostol for medical termination of pregnancy.
-after taking first pill containing mifepristone, the next two tablets containing misoprostol should be taken after 24 hours generally.
-by this bleeding will start usually in 12 hours after the course and pregnancy will terminate.
This drug is to be taken under Medical Supervision as it can cause serious effects as nausea,vomitting,fever,pain and sometimes incomplete abortion can also occur causing the remnants to remain.
Mifepristone is recommended drug of choice for abortion under 7 weeks so please check if your wife is less than 7 weeks pregnant.
You now give her rest of the two tablets today night and wait for next 3-4 days for the bleeding to start.
Also after taking these drugs a thorough evaluation and USG scan is recommended to check for complete evacuation of products.
Please consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation and then take it under her supervision.

1 hour before a flesh type thing came out....can i know when bleeding will start.i m worried because i have given mifepristone and misoprostol only in duration of 6hours.

I have given 2 tablets of misoprostol ...so when to give rest of two tablets..this is my last question ...thanks doctor for giving me answers...
