When Can I Expect Next Period After Abortion?
Question: Hi,
In continuation of my previous question,
Abortion was done and last dose of cytolog was taken on 18th May 2014.
Since then bleeding is reducing .Present its light reddish fluid till 3 days back.
Question:
When can be the next period expected?
Will their be any other side effect or problem related to this abortion.

Which tablet would you suggest for stopping the mild bleeding,will cytolog help?

The abortion is complete if no retained products were detected in the uterine cavity. To stop the mild bleeding hormonal tablets like norethisterone or combined oral pills will be helpful.
You can get these prescribed after consulting her gynecologist.
The chances of getting pregnant again are present if you indulge in unprotected intercourse.
The faint test line on urine test is due to receding levels of hormone HCG. This line will gradually disappear in next 2 weeks.
