Question: ..Hi Doctor.

What are all known conditions that lead to COPD ? Please list all the medications a client with COPD might be taking along with their effects on exercise. What would be the correct intensity for someone with a mild to moderate level of COPD to exercise at?

Thanks for the query

The most common causes for copd are
1. smoking of any kind which includes cigarettes , hookah, beedi, Etc
2. second hand smoke
3. chronic asthma
4.Seasonal allergies
5. environmental dust and pollution
6. certain occupation

A copd patient who is otherwise doing fine is put on long acting bronchodilators like salmetrol and ipratropium once or twice a day.
