Hi Dear Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read and reviewed your query facts.
This is a advanced stage of the Cancer in your patient.
Prognosis in such cases varies from case to case and the life expectancy is unpredictable. The prognosis is very grim and every day is bonus to him.
I understand Cancer Colon with its stage 4, is there since last 1 yr.
At 65 with morbid obesity,You should let him live to utmost and let him comply the legal responsibilities of -Will and other formalities for betterment of his family heirs.
I would suggest you to let him live as normal as he can and be on the supportive regimes,as no chemo or radio really is known to give you cure.

Histopath Prognosis-
Adenocarcinomas form 90% of all the Cancer Colons.
80% of these are Well Differentiated type of AdenoCarcinomas, and are comparatively slow growing with less aggressiveness and with better life expectancy.
Rest 20% are of Poorly differentiated type and are with very poor prognosis and short life expectancy.
Hope this information would give you the scope with which You can expect about the life expectancy and prognosis of your case.

If you could update the scan copy documents about the histopath reporting of your case and detailed MRI/CT-PET scan assessment reports, I would love to tell more about the prognostic possibilities in your case.
