Brief Answer:
The body immune system will destroy the toxins.

HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

Well it is very unlikely for a pimple to pop inside unless manipulated. But suppose it happens then the pus/toxins enters the blood . The blood contains certain factors and cells ( WBCs and Interleukins ) that can counteract these toxins and hence protect the body.

But sometimes ( very rarely ) the pus contains bacteria which are resistant to the action of WBCs and Interleukins and hence will not be destroyed. In that case the bacteria/toxins can travel all over the body and infect any organ.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

That was very useful, thank you very much. For curiosity's sake, in the rare case that the bacteria is resistant to the WBCs and were to infect any number of organs, how would the infection present itself so that one might know an organ had become infected? I'm assuming fever or flu like symptoms and would need to be eradicated with a generalized antibiotic given at a local hospital?

Brief Answer:
Starts with Fever

Detailed Answer:
HI

Yes initially starts with Fever or flu symptoms but later ( after 3-4 days ) presents with organ specific complaints like--

1. Burning sensation of urine .
2. Cough, breathlessness.
3. Pain Abdomen , vomiting or loose motions.
4. Headache, Altered conscious levels or Convulsions
5. Chest Pain or Low blood pressure.

In these situation a test called Blood Culture sensitivity test needs to be done or even Pus Culture sensitivity test from pimple also can be done . This test will let us know which is the right antibiotic for that bacteria and that antibiotic has to be used.

Hope this information was useful to you.
