Brief Answer:
The test for typhoid is not significant and therefore not positive!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully and the attached laboratory findings. It is true that salmonella Typhi O is reactive. However, this s reactive at values of 1:40 and it is not considered informative of an infection. For it to be indicative of an infection, it has to be positive at values of 1:80 and above. In this case, it is less that 1:80 and it is therefore not suggestive of an infection. I will suggest you should not get worried by this.

The WBC is slightly above the upper limit of 10.000. This too in the context of the other findings is not worrisome. At this time, I will not recommend any further investigations unless there are some specific symptoms of concern to you. If you do have any, please report them to me.

I hope this helps and addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
