What Does This X-ray Report For Adenoid Glands Indicate?
Question: My daughter whose 12years had got n XRAY done which read:
1.the adenoid glands appear enlarged and seen encroaching upon nasopharynx
2.rounded soft tisue shadow is seen anterior to the C1 vertebra
3.the nasal septum is mildly deviated to right

As per your clinical history it appears that your daughter are most probably having adenoid hypertrophy .
If I were your treating doctor , I would advice
continue tab Advent & ibugesic plus 1/2 tab twice daily for 7 days.
Use Combination Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine 1 puff each nostril twice daily like duonase nasal spray .
She will get relief .
