Brief Answer:
Nature of ovarian cysts should be evaluated

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I have reviewed both the reports.
The current ultrasound shows a large cyst in left ovary and a small cyst in the right ovary. The size of the fibroid is almost same in both the reports.
These ovarian cysts are likely to be benign in nature, but very slight chances of malignancy are there considering anechoic nature of right ovarian cyst and presence of cysts in both the ovaries.
I will suggest her to get a Doppler ultrasound to assess the blood flow to the cysts and get a blood levels of CA 125 done to assess the nature of cysts and to get the further management accordingly.
Uterine size and endometrial thickness is normal.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Diagnosis is must before treatmnet

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
It is advisable to assess the nature of the ovarian cyst , whether benign or malignat, before deciding the further treatment.
The treatment for the two types of conditions is different, and hence the confirmed diagnosis is mandatory.
Removal of ovaries and uterus is not the sufficient management, if the ovarian cyst is malignant.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

my mom has missed the sevista 30 doses for last 1 months. the cystic ovaries may be the side effect of that?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Unlikely due to missing sevista

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, cystic ovaries are unlikely to be due to the side effect of missing sevista.
She should get herself investigated for the nature of the ovarian cysts, without undue delay so that appropriate treatment can be timely initiated.
