What Does This Head CT Scan Report Suggest?

Question: I had a head CT scan. the report was as follos:
1. No acute intracranial findings. No evidence of acute ibfarct intracranual hemorrhage.
2. Senescent change with mild periventricular white matter hypodensities consistent with microvascular ischemic change.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Those CT scan findings are consistent with brain small vessels disease, mostly related to high blood pressure, Diabetes.

These conditions, if present, need to be treated correctly in order to stop further brain damage.

There is no evidence of your past lacunar stroke, but this depends on CT technique too.

If you experienced stroke-like symptoms, or any neurologic symptoms, brain MRI is a more accurate imaging study to assess early stroke and small strokes too.
