Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX, Thanks for writing in tous. I have read through your query in detail. The MRI report of your child is as following. 1. There is no abnormality of emergency nature which requires urgent medical intervention. 2. There is developmental abnormality in certain areas of an important structure known as corpus callosum which connects the left and right cerebral hemispheres and facilitates interhemispheric communication. 3. Cerebral microhemorrhages appear as scattered punctate foci of susceptibility on GRE/susceptibility images. This can mean mild vasculopathy changes in brain. This is again not a serious finding concerning your child at the moment. The above findings throw light on the delayed development and abnormal gait of your child and may guide an appropriate management to be followed. Hope your question is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer: Please find detailed asnwer below Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX, Thanks for writing in with an update. The term partial corpus callosum agenesis or dysgenesis is a diagnosis by itself. There are many causes of developmental delays which includes tumors or severe malformations in the brain. It is important to know the areas under developed or under compromise when dealing with patients as your child. This is to rule out conditions in which surgical correction might be required from those where no intervention is needed. Imaging by MRI is justified for your child. Hope your question is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek
