Increased echotexture on ultrasound of kidney indicates abnormal changes. It indicates chronic disease involving whole of kidney.

As it is bilateral, possible systemic cause like hypertension or diabetes mellitus might be responsible.

Serum creatinine and urea can suggest more about renal damage. Do get it done.
