Question: Dear sir, My wife is suffering from slip disc and back pain and took medicine Neo-Relax -MR containing thiocolchicoside, aceclosenpc,paracetamole now she missed periods and done pregnancy test with the test kit available in medical shops in XXXXXXX pregnancy test is positive. My question is whether this test is positive because of medicine ? because she says she do not feel like pregnant. We have one child and she says she do not get those symptoms which she felt during our first child early pregnancy days. second question are the above medicine safe while one is pregnant ?

2. Best option is give blood for serum beta hCG test which will accurately confirm pregnancy.

3. These medicines are not absolutely bad for baby. Let her get tested for serum beta hCG. If pregnancy is confirmed the medicines can be altered.
