What Does "poor Decidual Reaction" Mean During Pregnancy?

Question: hi
i am 9+ weeks pregnant now but when i went to my gyne. in 6 weeks pregnancy, she told me that poor decidual reaction and foetus heart not appreciated and advised for D&C. i didn't have till now what will be your opinion? should i take a chance or get it aborted??

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) It is very early to predict it at 6 weeks. I dont agree with your doctor's advice.

2) No need for doing D& C.

3) I dont think you have to get abortion. Dont do it.

4) Get a repeat transvaginal ultrasound scan done in another centre today and check the growth of baby and send me report.

I have got high fever since 2-3 days and having much pain in my back and lower abdomen since an hour with lots of bleeding.

Thanks for mentioning about bleeding.

This means you are probably aborting. In this situation, if you wish to continue pregnancy it is better to see doctor for transvaginal ultrasound scan and see if pregnancy can be saved.

Sitting at home with fever, abdomen pain and bleeding is not good. You need medical help.
