What Does My Semen Analysis Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hello doctor.... I am 29 years old. My semen analysis report is volume 3 ml; pH 8.0, liquefaction time 30 minutes. Progressive motility 30%, non progressive motility 10%, immotile 60%, sperm concentration 29.5 million/ml.
Morphology 65% normal; 20% head defects, 15% tail defects. Agglutination- present. Pus cells 8-10/ HPF
RBC 1 -2/ HPF.is it normal? How to increase sperm count and motility. How to reduce Pus cells& RBC?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I would suggest you to take a ten day course of doxicycline after consulting your doctor. It would help in bringing down the pus cell and RBCs in semen.

I would also suggest you to take zinc and folic acid supplementation. It has proven benefits over both sperm motility and count. Check the following link:

You may take folvite 5mg and cobadex CZS once daily for next 3 to 6 months.
