Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi there.

I want to understand if you did not have diabetes, but after seeing random sugar 121 mg/dl your doctor started on medicine?
Are you doing well with that sugar tablet Azulix?
Cobadex CZS is a multivitamin tablet and has nothing to do with your sugars. But Azulix is a tablet to control sugars and second line therapy for type 2 diabetes when the first line therapy (metformin) is contraindicated or when it fails to control sugars then only Azulix (Glimepiride) is added.
If you didn't have diabetes before these 30 days, then you can stop the multivitamin as well as Azulix tablet. Get your oral glucose tolerance test done with HbA1c level and then show to a good Endocrinologist or Diabetologist. If you are overweight then you will put on further weight with Azulix. So check with your doctor about use of tablet metformin instead.
Stopping Azulix is of no harm at all if you did not have diagnosed diabetes type 2 one month before this.
After your OGTT and HbA1c report, do get back and we shall guide you further.
Take care.
