Question: A test name microsomal antibody my results are 1,181( the maximum in the range is 60), are very high, I repeat two times with the same result. what means?I ask the question to you and the answer was to repeat the test, but the test was two times repeated with the same result. 1,181 in TPO what means that?

Hashimoto's thyroiditis is a medical term used to indicate a thyroid problem in which a person's own defence system ('antibodies') attacks the thyroid and damages it. One typically does not feel any pain though. This often leads to a permanently underactive thyroid state called Hypothyroidism.
The blood levels of TSH rise above normal, and generally when it is more than 10 , treatment with a medication called levo thyroxine is begun, for life.
Your TSH is 3.3 and so it is not grossly elevated. This means you do not need treatment right away, unless you are planning to become pregnant, in which case treatment should be commenced in order to lower the TSH below 2.5
