Brief Answer:
Avoid consuming alcohol.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi & Welcome to HCM.

I appreciate your concern for the high GGT.

Normal Gamma-Glutamyltransferase (GGT) in Males (18-35 years): 9-31 U/L

GGT is elevated in all forms of liver & gall bladder diseases, and in alcoholics who drink heavily.

It is the single most important and sensitive indicator of liver injury in alcoholic patients, since there is many many folds high so the risk of complications like cirrhosis of the liver, etc can develop at any time.

Had you been my patient, my first advice to you would have been to stop drinking alcohol.

Do regular exercise, take healthy balanced diet (vegetables and fruits), avoid fast/junk foods, fatty vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.

Hope to have answered your query.
