Brief Answer:
Termination of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety related to the issue.
This is a major cardiac abnormality and needs termination of pregnancy only as the child if born live (high chances of abortion and intrauterine death), will not be able to thrive outside mother's womb.
So it will be best to opt for termination at this stage only to spare her from further mental torture of miscarriage and death of baby at layer stages.

Brief Answer:
Termination possible only before 20 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Yes sir, your gynecologist is absolutely right and it is totally illegal to do termination after 20 weeks come what may be the status of baby.
So you need to plan accordingly and as early as possible.
Because in case she crosses 20 week mark she will have to carry the child till delivery and suffer from more emotional damage.
Take care.
