What Does My Blood Test Results Indicate?
Question: Suffer from systemic sclerosis have been ill for about 3 weeks with ? viral infection just had bloods taken results are:
Kidney function 19
HB 87
INR 6.3
CXR scheduled for today, feeling awful is this truly only due to the viral infection?

I have gone through your history.
If you could attach the detailed reports and let me know the last ones as well..
Your Hb is down as well and INR is very high..something which is of concern here as there is increased risk of bleeding. I am not sure if you are on medications for blood thinning or the lab reports are falsy..
it doesn't seem due to viral. probably something else going on..
do attach these results and let me know

I have been advised to stop my warfare for 2 days then resume to a lower dose of 2mg until INR check next week. Received results over the phone therefore nothing I can send you.

Sorry for the late reply. Just got done with my shift
I suppose your INR would have come to normal by now since you stopped it for 2 days.
As for the Hb, it is quite low. I would suggest your get your stool tested for occult blood as well and check your Last Hb. If there is a fall from the previous report, we need to investigate it further.
The kidney function test report is incomplete. I cant really comment on it much.
Only one doubt I have is the reason for starting you on warfarin? Is it for Pulmonary artery hypertension or some other reason??
