What Does Lower Abdominal Pain Indicate?

Question: Keep getting twinges lower right abdomen have had this last year only happens once or twice a day sometimes it's sudden or times it just aches what could this be?

Is the pain intermittent ?
Does it get relived or get changed in any aspect on passing stools ?
Do you feel any gurgling in the abdomen ?
Is passage of urine normal ?

It could well be trapped gas.

It comes & goes, seems better when opened bowels, does tend to gurgle, no problems with passing urine

Sorry for the delay in my response,

Based on the information you provided, I suspect the pain you get is due to gas. This can happen when there is no good amount of fiber in your diet. I suggest you to take Psyllium husk 2 spoons mixed in water or milk in the night. Do this for a minimum of a week, which can solve your problem well.
