Brief Answer:
wait for another week for periods

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your health concerns and anxiety related to the issue.
There can be several reasons for a missed period, common ones being stress, any febrile illness, acute diarrhea and even sudden weight loss or gain.
At times indulging in a new exercise schedule also delays the period.
Just wait for another week and in case you still don't get your periods, do a repeat urine pregnancy test and if negative then you will need to take progesterone for withdrawal of periods.
There seems no risk of pregnancy though because you did a protected sex and that too near the date of your expected periods.
Wait for a week and I hope you will get your periods on their own.
Take care

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have one more question to you.
Is delayed periods after sex commonly found in women?

Brief Answer:
not very common

Detailed Answer:
No, it is not very common and in case sex is unprotected then pregnancy is the commonest cause.
In normal sexually active women rate of missed periods is less than 5% in case she has regular periods and only protected sexual activity.
But usually nothing to worry about as most of the times causes are simple and physiological as stated in our previous discussion.
