Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that her symptoms do not seem to be related to any cardiac disorders.

From the other hand, I would also exclude a neurological disorder, because it is very rare in neurological disorders to have numbness in both arms at the same time, with an acute onset.

Coming to this point, her symptoms could be related to high blood pressure, low oxygen levels or an electrolyte imbalance.

Anxiety could also mimic this clinical situation.

Have you checked her heart rate and blood pressure values?

I recommend avoiding physical activity and having some rest. It is also necessary measure her blood pressure values and heart rate values. Drinking some water may help.

If her complaints persist, I recommend bringing her to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:

-a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- fasting glucose
- complete blood count for anemia
- blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels
- blood oxygen saturation levels.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
