Question: I have had a hard small bump on top of my head for at least a couple of years. It is not XXXXXXX Should I be worried? It isn't painful

It may be half an inch in total width. It is covered with hair like the rest of my scalp...has stayed the same size and is hard and non moveable..cannot be indented. Really don't remember how it started.
Last night it was a tiny bit tender and perhaps a bit larger and some area of softness . this morning it was smaller and flater...with no tenderness.
