What Does A BP Level Of 150/90 Indicate?
There is nothing to worry about!
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that this is a normal physiological reaction of the body, that happens in every healthy individual.
You should know that during physical activity (standing up, working, walking, etc.) the sympathetic nervous system is activated leading to increased levels of chatecholamines (adrenaline and noradrenaline) and thus a raise in blood pressure.
The opposite occurs when lying down, so the blood pressure goes down.
This happens in every normal person.
Besides, all your performed cardiac tests have showed a normal cardiac function and structure.
So relax! You have nothing to worry about!
Hope to have been helpful!
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask me again!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
You have a perfectly normal cardio-vascular system.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Thank you for the additional information, but I would like to reassure you that this does not indicate any cardiac disorder.
In fact these changes in the blood pressure values, indicate that you have a perfectly normal autonomic nervous system and also a perfect cardio-vascular system, which are able to detect your body position with precision and make the proper physiological changes in blood pressure.
So, everything is OK with your heart and blood vessels. Just relax and don't worry about it any more!
Hope to have clarified all your uncertainties!
Wishing all the best!

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that these symptoms could be related to anxiety.
You should know that the activity of the sympathetic nervous system depends from our physical and emotional activity. You may stay without moving, but some thoughts, feelings or fears, anxiety can trigger the activity of the sympathetic nervous system causing increased circulating adrenaline, which leads to increased heart rate.
As your Holter monitoring has showed a normal heart rhythm (those rare PVCs can be completely explained by anxiety or physical activity), there is nothing to worry about!
So, relax and don't think about these issues any more. There is no need to perform any further tests!
You have a perfectly normal heart and cardio-vascular system! You should feel blessed about this!
Hope to have clarified all your uncertainties!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
