Brief Answer: Suggestions Detailed Answer: Hi there. I am Dr Mittal. And I have read your query. I think the treatment is on the right track. The sugars you stated are pretty acceptable. Your HbA1C has come down, meaning the therapy was fine. However, I would suggest watching out for kifney funtions. They seem borderline normal I would suggest a test of urine for microalbuminuria, And if found positive, I would consider insulin in my patients rather than tablets. Best of luck Dr Mittal

Brief Answer: suggested urine for microalbuminuria Detailed Answer: urea and creatinine go together as i said, they are parts of kidney damage therefore i suggested urine for microalbuminuria they might be an effect of diabetes medicines you are on and therefore i suggested insulin may need to be considered. the urine test may be important cause other normal possibilities also give similar report like heavy exercise non veg diet etc the means to reduce the levels depend on the cause. therefore we need the urine test
